Courtney Thorne Smith Bio

Courtney Thorne-Smith (born on the 8th of November 1997) is an American actor from America. Her credits include Alison Parker in Melrose Place, Georgia Thomas in Ally McBeal, Cheryl In According to Jim and Lyndsey McElroy's role in Two and a Half Men. Thorne Smith was born in Menlo Park in the south of San Francisco. Her father, Walter Smith, was an analyst in the field of computer markets as was her mother, Lora Thorne, was a psychotherapist. Courtney seven years old, divorced her father Walter Smith. She was a part of both of her parents at different times. Jennifer is her older sister is an advertising executive. She attended the Menlo-Atherton High school located in Atherton, California and graduated Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley in 1985. When she was at high school, she played with Ensemble Theater Company of Mill Valley. Thorne Smith made her first movie appearance in the 1986 film Lucas alongside Winona Ryder and Corey Haim. In the mid-80s, she was also seen in a range of films including Welcome to 18 (1986), Revenge of the Nerds II (Nerds in Paradise) (1987), Summer School (1987) and Side Out(90). In 1998, she was a star in the box office flop Chairman of the Board with Carrot Top. In 2009, she starred in Sorority Wars. Thorne Smith was a fan of Andrew Shue from Melrose Place in the 1990s. In June 2000, she was married Andrew Conrad, a geneticist. The couple broke up in January 2001. On January 1st 2007, she was married Roger Fishman, president of the marketing firm the Zizo Group and author of the book What I Know. On the 11th of January 2008, aged 40 she gave birth to Jacob Emerson Fishman, her son. Jacob Emerson Fishman.
