Susan Sarandon Bio
It was shortly following the 1968 Democratic convention There was an audition to a movie that featured several roles that were aimed at young people who had disrupted the convention. Joe (1970) was auditioned for by Joe (1970) and Joe (1970), two recently graduated Catholic University students. Chris Sarandon was not selected even though he previously studied acting. His wife Susan was offered a significant role.That performance was of Susan Compton who was the daughter of an ad executive Bill Compton (Dennis Patrick). Dad Bill, Susan's drug dealer partner, is killed in the movie. Joe (Peter Boyle) is a bigot who works in an assembly line comes across Joe (Sarandon). Janet is a character who falls in love with Dr. Frank n Furter, plays the role of Janet in the film The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975). After more than 15 years Sarandon became a vocal advocate for Annie in Bull Durham (1988), traveling between Rome to Los Angeles at her expense. "It was a great script ... and removed many myths and challenged the American definition of success" she told. "I had a few hours there with Kevin Costner, sex some guys at the studio, and then I got back on the plane. Tim Robbins, her Bull Durham (1988) as a supporting actor, was her first love. He was father to two boys by 1992. This put Sarandon in an awkward position. She was forced to leave her home and take on the most challenging roles. This led to four Academy Award nominations in the 1990s and for the best actress in Dead Man Walking (1995). Her first Academy Award nomination was for Louis Malle's Atlantic City (1980).
